Meet your guide and driver at your hotel in central District 1 or the designated meeting point and depart for My Tho, approximately 1.5–2 hours from Ho Chi Minh City depending on traffic.

Morning | My Tho – Mekong River Experience

Begin your discovery of the Mekong Delta with a boat journey on the Tien River, cruising past the four well-known islets of Dragon, Unicorn, Tortoise and Phoenix.

Stop at Unicorn Island (Thoi Son) and experience the rural lifestyle of the Mekong Delta. Visit a local honey-bee farm and enjoy honey tea, taste seasonal tropical fruits while listening to traditional Southern Vietnamese folk music, and travel through the peaceful village surroundings.

Continue with a hand-rowed sampan ride along narrow canals shaded by water coconut palms.

Cross toward the Ben Tre side of the river to visit a coconut candy workshop, where you can see how this well-known Mekong specialty is traditionally produced.

Vinh Trang Pagoda

During the day, visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, one of the best-known Buddhist landmarks in the My Tho area, notable for its combination of Vietnamese and Asian-European architectural influences. Vietnam's national tourism database identifies the pagoda as a national historical-cultural relic.

The Vinh Trang Pagoda visit may be arranged either before or after the Mekong River excursion depending on the operating route.

12:30 | Mekong Delta Lunch

Enjoy lunch at a local riverside or garden restaurant with typical Mekong Delta dishes.

After lunch, take some time to relax. Depending on the local arrangement, a short bicycle ride through the village may also be available.

15:00 – 15:30 | My Tho – Ho Chi Minh City

Return by motorboat to My Tho, meet your driver and depart for Ho Chi Minh City.

Expected arrival in central Ho Chi Minh City is around 17:00–17:30, depending on traffic.

The order of activities may be adjusted according to the local boat route, tide, traffic and operating conditions. Vinh Trang Pagoda may be visited before or after the river excursion, while the main experiences described in the program will remain unchanged.
